Pearl N. Snyder, 78, of Fond du Lac, died Monday, May 10, 2010 at Grancare Nursing Center, Fond du Lac, following a brief illness. She was born January 10, 1932 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Charles and Edna Kippenhann Smith. Pearl married Robert J. Snyder April 30, 2007 in Las Vegas, NV. She lived and worked her entire life in Fond du Lac and surrounding area.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Snyder of Fond du Lac; four sons, Harland (special friend, Barb) Snyder, Fond du Lac, Luther (Jayne) Snyder, Malone, John (special friend, Rose) Snyder, Markesan, and Will (Teresa) Daane, North Fond du Lac; two daughters: Pam (special friend, Dick) Krause, Van Dyne, and Deb (Randy) Hein, Fond du Lac; two step-daughters: Patti (John) Beck, Chandler, Ariz., and Becky Tan, Florida; six grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; five brothers: Charles Smith, Charleston, S.C., Sonny Smith (Ralph Blackie) Lake City, Fla., George (Teresa) Smith, Palatka, Fla., Robert (June) Smith, Smithville, Tenn., and James T. Smith, Oshkosh; one sister, Ruby, California; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, two sisters, one nephew and one granddaughter.


Visitation: Visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 15, 2010, at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave.


Services: The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 15, at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Deacon Larry Hughes will officiate. Entombment will take place at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park.
