Fawn Reynolds Maggard Bryant, 87, of Witter, Arkansas, died April 14, 2002 at Meadowview Healthcare and Rehab in Huntsville. She was born May 7, 1914 at Loy, Arkansas, the daughter of Thomas and Viola Burgess Reynolds. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was the widow of Henry Maggard, Sr. and Earl Bryant. She was also preceded in death by three daughters, Betty Lou Harrison, Lucille Biffert and Tresa B. Reynolds, three stepsons, Clifford Maggard, Art Maggard and Oris Maggard, one stepdaughter, Christine Wilson, her parents, six brothers, five sisters and one grandson.
Survivors include: three sons and daughters-in-law, Henry Maggard, Jr. and Cleaetta Maggard of Houbstadt, Indiana, Wendall K. and Colleen Maggard of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Norman and Irene Gumm of Tulsa, Oklahoma; four daughters and sons-in-law, Louese and Ken Spears of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Ruth and Dave Richardson of Rogers, Arkansas, Mildred and Don Cornelison of Wesley, Arkansas and Jo Ann and Joe Christian of Western Grove, Arkansas; one stepson, Oral Bryant of Witter, Arkansas; one stepdaughter, Ova Niles of Needles, California; three brothers, Roy Reynolds of Kingston, Arkansas, Wesley Reynolds of Hindsville, Arkansas and Tommy Reynolds of Highfill, Arkansas; two sisters, Sara Jane Coble of Yakima, Washington and Viola Johnson of Huntsville, Arkansas; twenty-five grandchildren; thirty-seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 16, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Rev. Layton Porter and Rev. Porter Bryant officiating. Interment was in the Witter Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville. Pallbearers were the grandsons.
