Fannie Carter, 90, of Huntsville, Arkansas, died January 24, 2002 at her home. She was born March 16, 1911 at Loy, Arkansas, the daughter of Tom and Viola Burgess Reynolds. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. She was the widow of John Leasel Carter who preceded her in death on August 16, 1978. She was also preceded in death by one son, Leasel Carter and one daughter, Mrs. Lavera Keck.

Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Crawford and Barbara Carter of Haysville, Kansas and Charles and Dixie Carter of Springdale, Arkansas; two daughters and sons-in-law, Loletta and Bill Phillips of Clarkston, Washington and Lorena and Bobby Middleton of Huntsville, Arkansas; three brothers, Wesley Reynolds of Hindsville, Arkansas, Tommy Reynolds of Highfill, Arkansas and Roy Reynolds of Huntsville, Arkansas; three sisters, Fawn Bryant and Viola Johnson, both of Huntsville, Arkansas and Sarah Jane Coble of Yakima, Washington; seventeen grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, January 28, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with C.J. Jackson, Minister officiating. Interment was in the Venus Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville. Pallbearers were the grandsons.
