OHIO WOMAN, FORMERLY OF NEW HAVEN, DIES - An Ohio resident, Mrs. Mary Zita Sims, age 99, died Thursday, Nov. 10, at her home in Ravenna. She was formerly of New Haven. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Mary A. Boone, of Texas; Sister James Rita, Kentucky; Mrs. Jeanette Dreyer, New York; and Mrs. Cecilia Craycroft of Ravenna, Ohio; a son, Robert J. Sims, of Texas; 19 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass was offered at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Catherine Church, New Haven, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation was at the Hagen and Nusz Funeral Home, New Haven. A prayer service was held Friday at 6:30 p.m. at Hagan and Nusz Funeral Home. Prayers were given by Rev. George Craycroft, pastor of Immaculate Conception in Culvertown. Chief celebrant was Rev. Leo Craycroft of Radcliff. He was assisted by Rev. George Craycroft, Rev. Leonard Alvey of Brescia College and Rev. Bernard Powers of Owensboro. Pallbearers were Ray Hagan, Mike Thompson, Nick Sims, Paul Sims, Joe Bill Boone and Jack Newcomb.
