RITES SATURDAY FOR FRANK E. BOONE, RELATED HERE - Funeral Mass for Frank E. Boone, related in Nelson County, was offered at 9:30 Saturday morning, June 10, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Louisville. Interment was in St. Catherine Cemetery, New Haven. Mr. Boone, 73, a Nelson County native, died at 9:35 a.m. Wednesday, June 7, at St. Joseph Infirmary, Louisville. His residence was 1013 Trevilian Way there. He retired five years ago as a welder for American Air Filter Company. Survivors include his wife, the former Mary M. Bowling; a daughter, Mrs. Thomas P. Osborne; eight sons, B. David Boone, Jeffersonville, Ind.; Louis M. Boone, of Springfield, a former teacher at St. Joseph Preparatory School and presently on the staff at Nelson County High School; Joseph E. Boone, Pittsburg, Pa.; Brother Loyola, CFX, of LaPaz, Bolivia; J. Patrick Boone, Dayton, Ohio; George R. Boone, St. Louis, Mo.; Francis P. and Brother Kirby, CFX, principal of Flaget High School, Louisville; two sisters, Mrs. Zita Sims, Akron, Ohio, and Miss Elizabeth Boone, New Haven; 37 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
