MISS BOONE, 78, DIES, FUNERAL AT NEW HAVEN - Miss Mary Elizabeth Boone, 78, of New Haven, died at 7:15 Tuesday morning, July 4, at Colonial House here, where she had resided for several weeks, after suffering a broken hip in a fall at her home. For many years she was housekeeper for the late Father Joseph A. Hogarty in Lebanon, and later was a practical nurse. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Robert A. (Zita) Sims, of Ravenna, Ohio, and a large number of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Her parents were the late Joseph F. and Sarah Mattingly Boone of the New Haven area. Funeral Mass will be offered at 10 o'clock this morning (Thursday) at St. Catherine Church, New Haven, where she was a member. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The body is at the Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven.
