DODSON, SHIRLEY ANN BRANNEN, 57, of LaFayette, Ga., died Thursday, Nov. 13, 1997, in a local hospital. She was an employee of Queen Carpet in Dalton, Ga. Survivors include her husband, Larry Dodson; four daughters, Debbie McKennedy, Donna Gee, Williamsport, Pa., Cindy Phillips, Kimberly, Tenn., Leslie Dodson, Jasper, Tenn.; four sisters, Grace Lee Deal, Auddie Mae Rushing, Lila Dell Freeman, Evaline Stokes; three brothers, Floyd, Joe and Pete Brannen, all of Statesboro; five grandchildren, a great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Bobby Staton and the Rev. Vincent Cook, officiating. Burial will be in LaFayette Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. today at the Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
