Stripling , Evaline Brannen
Evaline Brannen Stripling, 80, died Saturday April 2, 2005 at her home.

She was born in Statesboro and has lived most of her life in Savannah. She worked at Lords Department Store for 18 years and retired as an Assistant Manager at Levy Jewelers after 15 years. Mrs. Stripling attended the Holy Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Rufus B. Stripling.

Survivors: daughter and son in law, Linda Gail and Inman Hagan Sr., of Savannah; two brothers, Floyd and Pete Brannen; two sisters, Lila Dell Freeman, Audie Mae Rushing, all of Statesboro; two grandchildren, Tina Marie Provost and her husband Jerry, of Black Creek; Inman D. "Bubba" Hagan Jr., of Savannah; four great grandchildren, Christie Rowe and her husband Jeff, of Savannah; April Provost, of Richmond Hill; Heather Provost, of Black Creek; Talon Hagan and his mother Nita Jones, of Savannah; two great great grandchildren; David Provost; Bryce Harn, and his father Toney; and several nieces, nephews, and sisters in law.

Visitation: 6-9 p.m. Monday at the Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home.

Funeral Services: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Holy Church of God, 707 Little Neck Rd., with Brother Gene Garrison officiating.

The body will lie in state from 1-2 p.m.

Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be the nephews.
