Vivian G. "Sues" Ulmer 83, a retired cigar finisher for Consolidated Cigar Co. where she worked for 17 years, died Monday, July 17, 2006 at her home in Lancaster. She was born in Templeton PA and was the daughter of the late David J and Mary B. Spicher Barrett and was the wife of Wesley Ulmer for the past 59 years. In addition to her husband, she will be lovingly missed by the following nieces and nephews: James, Ronald, Jack, Kenneth, Thomas, John, Daniel, and Gary Barrett; Ronald, Brady, and Zachary Souders. Shirley Fyock, Cathy Georgy, Susan DeLuca, Judith Elzabarawi, Vickie Williamson, Linda Harding, Paul Brewer, Vivian Sylvester, Diana Petroski, Georgia Wilson, Donna and Gordon Sheaffer Sr., George, Robert, James, Frank, and David Butler, and Gordon, Alissa, and Abigail Sheaffer. She was preceded in death by the following brothers and sisters: William, Clarence, Leonard, Lee, Kenneth, Robert, Thomas, David, and Wallace Barrett; Evelyn Brewer, Idell Bigley, Kathadine Brewer, Yvonne Butler, and Mona Barrett. Also preceding her in death was a niece Michelle Y (Sheaffer) Souders. Funeral services will be held Friday July 21, 2006 at 11 a.m. from Young Funeral Home, 317 East Orange Street, Lancaster with Pastor Steven Taylor officiating.
