Kathadin C. Barrett Brewer, 88, of Gouldsboro, formerly of Allegheny Township, died at 8:55 a.m. Saturday (April 19, 2003) in Community Medical Center, Scranton.

Born Aug. 28, 1914, in Templeton, she lived in Gouldsboro for three years.

She enjoyed hooking rugs, reading and working crossword puzzles.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Diana (Joseph) Petroski of Gouldsboro with whom she lived and Mrs. Georgia (Donald) Willson of St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, David Barrett of Thurmont, Md.; and a sister, Mrs. Susie (Wesley) Ulmer of Lancaster.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George R. "Dutch" Brewer in 1994; her parents, David and Blanche Speicher Barrett; and several brothers and sisters.

Friends will be welcomed by her family from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at CLAWSONS, Leechburg, where funeral ceremonies will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Ronald W. Raptosh will officiate.

Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park mausoleum, Lower Burrell.
