Almira Yvonne(Barrett) Butler died January 3, 1995 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law Gordon & Donna (Butler) Sheaffer in Lancaster, PA after a prolonged illness. She was born in Templeton, PA the daughter of the late David J and Mary B (Spicher) Barrett. She was married to the late George M Butler for 50 years December 10, 1989. He preceded her in death August 17, 1993. In addition to her husband and parents, she was proceded in death by the following: a daughter Shirley Jean Butler, the following brothers and sisters, William, Clarence, Robert, Wallace, Lee, and Kenneth Barrett and the following sisters, Mona Barrett and Evelyn Brewer.

She is survived by the following children: Donna wife of Gordon Sheaffer, George (Esther), Robert (Kristi), James (Judy), F. Dennis (Cindy) and David (Marty) Butler. She is also survived by the following grandchildren: Michelle (Ronald) Souders, Gordon Sheaffer Jr., Craig, Karl, Kevin, Carley, and Justin Butler, Robert and Gregory Butler, Rebecca (Dwayne) Weitzel, James Butler Jr., Andrea Butler, and Kayla Butler. She is also survived by the following brothers and sisters, Idell Bigley, Thomas Barrett, Kathadine Brewer,Vivian Ulmer, David Barrett, and Leonard Barrett. Also surviving are 3 great grandchildren Brady Souders, Taylor J Weitzel and Zachary A Souders.

Friends may pay their respects at KENNEDY-BLODGETT Funeral Home. Rev. Russell Hawk will be in charge of service. Internment will be in the Cochran Cemetery.
