Edna Sarah Kemp, 79 of New Bethlehem RD 1 Armstrong County died at 12:45 a.m. Monday, Aug 4, 1980 at the Clarion Hospital.

Born November 7, 1901 in Mudlick, Redbank Township, Armstrong County, she was the daughter of Alvy Clarence and Catherine (Neese) Smith.

Edna was a member of the St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Eddyville, but attended the Mudlick United Methodist Church for the past ten years.

She is survived by two sons, Robert C. of New Bethlehem RD 1 and Harry S. of Rochester Mills; one daughter, Mrs. Dawson (Sarah Jane) Reitz of Mayport; one brother W.S. Smith of New Bethlehem RD 1; one sister, Mrs. Ethel Myers of Kittanning; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Edna was preceded in death by her husband Charles in 1958; one daughter, Ethel; one brother, Russell; five sisters, Snowie, Olive, Elsie, Martha and Flora. The Rev. Robert Sayer, pastor of the Mudlick United Methodist Church and the Rev. Lee Karns, pastor of the Cooperstown United Methodist Church, formerly pastor of the Mudlick United Methodist Church will officiate at the services at the funeral home.

Burial will be in the family plot in the Eddyville Cemetery, Armstrong County, Redbank Township. Arrangements by Alcorn.
