Born at Marytown on April 6, 1894, she was the daughter of Mathew and Catherine Pauly Karls. The former Anna Karls was married on April 23, 1913, at Marytown.
She attended Marytown schools and was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Jericho, and the Christian Mothers Society:
Mrs. Daun is survived by six sons, Sylvester and Jerome both of Chilton, Ervin, Alfred and LaVern all of Route 3, Chilton, and Severin of New Holstein; and a daughter, Mrs. Paul Schreiner of Route 3, Chilton; 23 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are two brothers, Joseph Karls of New Holstein and Herman Karls of Route 2, New Holstein; and a sister, Mrs. Norbert Schmitz of New Holstein.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Jan. 26, 1960, and by a daughter.
Funeral services will he held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Erbe-Evjen Funeral Home, New Holstein, and at 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, Jericho. The Rev. Ronald Reimer will officiate, and burial will he in the parish cemetery.
Friends of Mrs. Daun may call after 4 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
