BYRGE, WINFIELD age 77, of Knoxville, died 7:55 p.m. Monday, May 3, 1999 at St. Mary's Medical Center.
Member of Magnolia United Methodist Church.
Owner and Operator of Byrge Appliance for over 50 years.
Preceded in death by wife of 53 years, Mary Elizabeth Rhea Byrge, who died 11-5-98.
Survivors daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Todd Hayes of Strawberry Plains, TN; son and daughter-in-law, Greg W. and Donna Byrge; son and his girlfriend, Richard Thomas Byrge and Yvonne Hefner, all of Knoxville; grand children, Tesha Papik and Charles Norman Byrge; great-grand child, Bootsy Papik; sister, Edna Byrge Howard of Knoxville, Kathleen Byrge West and husband, Arnold of Hunstville, TN; brother and sister-in-law, James Albert and Pearlie Byrge of Halls; brother, Paul E. Byrge of Huntsville, TN; brother-in-law, Harold Strunk.
Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Friday at Stevens Mortuary Chapel, Rev. George Holt officiating.
Interment at Lynnhurst Cemetery. Pallbearers Harold Strunk, Bill Pittman, Michael Clement, James Byrge, James Byrge, Jr., Chuck Byrge, Doug Irwin and Mack McCauley.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Stevens Mortuary, Oglewood Avenue at Broadway.
