Died at 3:24 a.m., July 16, at Our Lady of the Lake hospital. A native of Walker and a resident of Denham Springs, she was 32. Survived by her husband, James P. Cook; two sons, C. J. and Gerald Wayne; three daughters, Janice Faye, Helen and Jackie Gail, all of Denham Springs; father and mother, Mrs. Leon C. Daivs; five sisters, Mrs. Eddie Ward, Baton Rouge; Mrs. Redrick Courtney and Mrs. Ameal Arnold, both of Walker; Mrs. Elie Noble and Mrs. John Dear, both of Baton Rouge; four brothers, Lee Davis, Baton Rouge; Willard Davis, Denham Springs; Scoffield Davis, Baton Rouge; and Herbert Davis, Walker. Body to rest at Rabenhorst Funeral Home until services there at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 17, with the Rev. D. E. Coyle officiating. Was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Interment in the new Denham Springs cemetery.
