Barbara Lee Roberts was the daughter of Charlie Bethel Roberts and Mary Elizabeth Burkhalter.

Barbara and Oscar D. Hutcherson were married about 1930, they were the parents of 7 children who lived to be adults.

Barbara and Oscar resided in Wayne County Ms. until after 1940, by 1944 they had relocated to 22nd Street in Pascagoula, Jackson County Ms. During the late 1960's they relocated to the Helena community about 15 miles north of Pacagoula, Ms., where they lived the rest of her life.

Barbara died April 15, 1977, at the age of 66. She was interred at Serene Memorial Gardens, in Jackson County, Ms.

Mrs. Barbara Lee Roberts Hutcherson, 66, Route 4, Pascagoula (Helena), was pronounced dead on arrival at Singing River Hospital Friday morning. She was born Feb. 20, 1911, in Neshoba County. She had lived in Jackson County the past 34 years.
She was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church, Pascagoula, and Pineview Homemakers Club.
Survivors include her husband, Oscar D. Hutcherson, Helena; three daughters, Mrs. Virginia Heller, Jackson, Miss.(Michigan); Mrs. Elizabeth V. Denney, Forrest Park, Ga.; and Mrs. Vondell Heathcock, Anchorage, Alaska;
Four sons, Virgil Hutcherson, Hurley; Thomas V. Hutcherson and Albert R. Hutcherson, both of Pascagoula, and Dennis M. Hutcherson, Marked Tree, Ark.; three sisters, Mrs. Mae Black, Oil City, Pa.; Mrs. Ruby Jarrell, Pascagoula, and Mrs. Inez Thomas, Poplarville, Miss.; Three brothers, Marvin Roberts, Franklin Creek; Charles Roberts, Oil City, Pa., and Stennis D. Roberts, Grand Bay; 22 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4 P.M. to 10 P.M. today at Holder-Wells Funeral Home, Moss Point. Funeral service will be at 10 A.M. Monday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Milton Fields, pastor of Firt Free Will Baptist Church, and the Rev. Valton Douglas, pastor of Helena Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Serenity Gardens.
