Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie" Burkhalter and Charlie Bethel Roberts were married in 1900, probably Kemper Co., Ms. The Kemper county court house burnt, a marriage record has not been located.
Lizzie and Charlie were the parents of eleven children of which ten lived to be adults and have families of their own. She was a devoted wife and mother who loved her family.
Lizzie died the 22 Dec. 1943 at the age of 58 in Oil City, Venango Co., Pa., burial was in the Bredinsburg Cemetery, Franklin, Venango County, Pa. Arrangements by Osenider Funeral Home, Oil City, Pa.
