DEATH OF AGED WOMAN

SAREPTA ANN HARTMAN

Mrs. Sarepta Ann Hartman, aged 83, wife of John D. Hartman, died at her home west of Bridgeton, Tuesday afternoon, after an illness of five weeks. She was born in Raccoon township and with the exception of a short time in Florida township had spent her entire life near her birthplace. She was the daughter of John and Rachel Barnes Allbright.

Mrs. Hartman was a member of the Friendly Grove Baptist church. Besides her husband she is survived by 2 daughters. Mrs. Lillie Adams of Jessup and Mrs. Mary Jones of Kokomo; 8 sons, Bert and Russell of Terre Haute, Henry of near Rockville, James of Sulphur Springs, Ed, Charles and Newton of Raccoon township and Fred at home; 37 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Mrs. America Yowell and Mrs. Henrietta Adams of Rosedale and Mrs. Sarah Callis of Raccoon township; and 3 brothers, Henry Allbright of Rosedale, Thomas Allbright of Brazil and John Allbright of Raccoon township.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 o'clock this (Thursday) afternoon the Bridgeton Baptist church. Burial will be made in Clear Run cemetery.
