MCGINNIS, MOLISSIE PETRE - age 95 of Washburn, passed away after a short illness, Sunday October 19, 2003 at St. Mary's Hospice. She was an active member of Locust Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband, John Tilden McGinnis; sisters, Lucille Phipps, Hettie Acuff, Helen Phillips; brother, Herman Petre. Survived by sons & daughters-in-law, John Paul and Wanda McGinnis, Gerald and Sarah McGinnis, Earl & Shirley McGinnis; five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Mattie Collins; brothers, William Edward (Dutch) Petre, Billy Joe Petre. The family would like to give a special thanks to all the caregivers and a special thanks to St. Mary's Hospice for their kindness and loving care shown to Granny. Funeral service 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ernest Green, Rev. Roy Glen Acuff, Rev. Randy Morgan, and Rev. Randy Beeler officiating. Family and friends will meet at Cleveland Cemetery in Washburn at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, for an interment service. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Mynatt Funeral Home.
