COLLINS, MATTIE PETRE age 78, was called home to Heaven on September 9, 2013. She was a member of Graveston Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by husband Odra S. Collins, infant son Randall Collins, parents Edgar and Valley Petre, brothers William E. Petre and Herman Petre, sisters Helen Phillips, Hettie Acuff, Molissie McGinnis, and Lucille Phipps, and close family friend Carl Sharp, Sr. Survivors include brother Bill Petre and wife Lucy; sister-in-law Anna Lee Petre; close family friends Carl Sharp, Jr. and Ina Clapp; as well as several nieces and nephews who loved her very much. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with Reverend Mark Kitts officiating. The family will meet 12:45 p.m. Thursday at Greenwood Cemetery for interment at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday
