Mrs. Calvin Trauger, Jamestown Resident
Mrs. Calvin Trauger, 39, who lived 14 miles north of Elgin, died July 16 at Jamestown. She had been in ill health for two years.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Mandan, with the Rev. Walter Schott officiating. Burial will be in Mandan Union Cemetery.
The pallbearers will be Roy and Reuben Otto, Clifford Caya, Ed Lang, Henry Wiest and Fred Unterseher.
Mrs. Trauger was born May 2, 1930, at Timmer, N. D., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lafe Iverson. She attended schools at Timmer and at Mandan after moving to Mandan in 1942. She was married to Calvin Trauger at Bismarck on Aug. 7, 1947.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Glen Ullin, and the Lakeside and Westgate homemakers clubs. She had been very active in cub scout work in Mandan.
She leaves her husband and four children, all at home, Gary, Alan, Donella and Brenda. She also leaves four sisters and three brothers; they are: Mrs. Donald Wing, Mrs. Frank Witkowski and Mrs. Carl Witkowski, all of Mandan; Mrs. Glenn Hoovestol, New Salem; Donald Iverson, Portland; George Iverson, Bismarck, and Floyd Iverson, Ralph, S. D.
Friends may call at Buehler Funeral Home, Mandan, from Saturday until the time of the services.

Verna Trauger Rites Monday
Mrs. Calvin (Verna) Trauger, age 39, who made her home 14 miles north of Elgin, died in Jamestown on July 16th at 4:15 a.m. after an illness of two years duration.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. CST on Monday, July 21st at the Church of the Good Shepherd, United Mothodist, Mandan with the Rev. Walter Schott officiating and interment in Mandan Union Cemetary (sic). Pallbearers will be Roy and Reuben Otto, Clifford Caya, Edward Lang, Henry Wiest and Fred Unterseher.
The former Verna Iverson, she was born on May 12th 1930 in Timmer, N.D. to Mr. and Mrs. Lafe Iverson. She moved to Mandan with her parents in 1942 and to Elgin in 1961. She married Calvin Trauger in Bismarck on Aug. 7. 1947. She attended schools in Timmer and Mandan and was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church of Glen Ullin. She was also a member of the Lakeside and Westgate Homemakers Clubs.
