Mary was the oldest of seven children born to Alexander Lee & Elizabeth Jane Danner Linn. For whatever reason after Alexander's death in 1900 the spelling changed to Lynn. However, the name was still spelled Linn in 1910 but not 1920. So, it was between 1910 and 1920 Elizabeth changed the spelling to Lynn and that is what our branch of the family has gone by since that time. She was married to John Henry Sigler. They had 11 children:

Anna Mae Sigler (June 12, 1905 - January 31, 1906)
Charles Irvin Sigler (October 8, 1906 - 1978)
Elizabeth Susan Sigler Ogden (November 15, 1908 – May 1, 2003)
Pauline Virginia Sigler Tracey (August 16, 1912- February 5,1938)
Ida Regina Sigler Forrest (September 20, 1915 - September 23, 1997)
Mary Katherine Sigler (March 30, 1917 - August 13, 1917)
Maurice Sylvester Sigler (April 19, 1918 – March 17, 2009)
Thelma Irene Sigler Golden Jackson (July 10,1920 – March 11, 2009)
John Calvin Sigler (May 27, 1922 - June 10, 1988)
