John Calvin "Bus" Sigler, Sr.
May 27, 1922-June 9, 1988

John Calvin Sigler, Sr., 66, of Route 2, Hagerstown, died Thursday, June 9, at the Washington County Hospital.

Born in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late John and Mary Lynn [Linn] Sigler.

He was employed by the Board of Education for 14 years, retiring in 1985.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Mae Bartlett Sigler, [one daughter, four sons], three sisters, Thelma Jackson of Sharpsburg, and Elizabeth Ogden and Regina Forrest, both of Mt. Lena; three brothers, Maurice Sigler of Kemps Mill, and Robert Sigler and Glenn Sigler, both of Hagerstown; five grandsons; and one great-grandson.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd. The Rev Alan M. Greijack will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.
