I answered the question someone had put on Rosa Ackerman Henderson Sheleby's death certificate which was - Was she married to a Henderson BEFORE she married Leban Sheleby? The Answer: Yes! She was married to Robert Henderson until he passed away leaving her a widow. She then married Leban Sheleby and had 3 more kids to add to the 6 (or more) she had with R. Henderson. Many of them are buried at Halfway Creek cemetary.

I am the great-Grandaughter of Leban and Rosa. My Grandfather was Lee Shelby (changed the spelling; removed the 2nd "e", you'll see his marker near Leban and Rosa's). His brother was Thamon, who married Hessie Mitchum. Lee and Thamon had a beautiful sister named BUDDRAH. Not sure how it is spelled, but it would be pronounced BUD-RUH. Lee (my Grandfather) died before I was born, in Sacramento, CA. I never met him. Only met Uncle Thamon once. I wondered if anyone had a picture of my Aunt Buddrah. The Sheleby's are originally from Damascus, Syria.
