The funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mayer Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Half Way Creek Cemetery.
Mrs. Morris was born Feb 11, 1894, in Berkeley County, a daughter of the late Robert S. Ackerman and Mrs. Portia M. Ackerman. She was a member of Assembly of God Church.
Surviving are: four sons, Riley C. Morris, Samuel Morris and Robert W. Morris, all of Charleston, and Larry F. Morris of Mount Pleasant; six daughters, Mrs. Julia L. Thomas and Mrs. Myrtle L. Gaskins, both of Mount Pleasant, Mrs. Sadie J. Cantey of Awendaw, Mrs. Ellen A. Jackson, Mrs. Mary V. Stone and Mrs. Ethel L. Jackson, all of McClellanville; a brother, Ludy Ackerman of Macedonia; a
half brother, Lawrence Ackerman of McClellanville; 30 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
