ELOY - Visitation will be from 6 pm until 8pm. today in the Valley Funeral Home chapel for Clarence Roy Awbrey, 82, who died Wednesday in Hoemako Hospital, Casa Grande. Services will be at 10 am Friday at the Valley Funeral Home. Rev Harry Brooks will officiate. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.
A retired cowboy who had lived in Eloy 37 years, Mr. Awbrey was born Aug. 12, 1895 in Texas.
Survivors include his wife, Frankie; his sons, Roy, Charles, Frank and Kenneth Awbrey; his daughters, Cherry Burchett, Jonnie Buchanan, Lela Mae Staats and Etta Ruth Amerson; 18 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters.
