Mrs. Burchett was born on Aug. 22, 1930, to Roy Awbrey and Frankie Lacasse in Carrizozo, New Mexico. She served the Lord and her community and loved her family very much.
Survivors include two children: Clayton Burchett, of Mesa, and Bonde Burchett-Woolf, of Gilbert; sister, Etta Ruth Amerson, of Casa Grande; brothers: Kenneth Awbrey, of Eloy, and Frank Awbrey, of Flagstaff; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil; a son, Robert Burchett; a daughter, Carolyn Duncan; two sisters: Jonnie Buchanan and Lela May Staats; and two brothers: RC and Charles Awbrey.
Visitation beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 3, at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel in Casa Grande, with funeral at 10 and the Rev. Josh Ibarra officiating.
Burial in Eloy Memorial Park.
