Roy Tolin passed away at his home northeast of town about noon Monday, at the age of 70 years, Mr. Tolin had been seriously ill for several months. The entire community was saddened by his death and extended their sincere sympathy to the family. Funeral services will be held the middle of the week at the Methodist church.

OBITUARY
Death came to Roy Tolin, prominent resident of the Havensville community on February 5, 1951, at his home, following a long illness. He was born at Soldier, Kansas, on October 7, 1880. His parents were James and Ella Henry Tolin.

On April 27, 1904 he was united in marriage to Laura Proctor. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Hazel Perry and Miss Helen Tolin, of St. Louis, Mo., and Miss Corabelle Tolin from Arabia; two sons , Paul of Soldier, and Gene of Idaho; and two nephews, Roy and Don DuCharm, who were reared by Mr and Mrs Tolin as their sons. The grandchildren are: Jimmy, Benny, Brenda and Janet Tolin and Michael Perry. Three brothers, George, Logan and Ernest, also survive.

Mr. Tolin was a faithful member and willing worker of the Havensville methodist church and the America City Grange. He has served in various township capacities at different times.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Kenneth Smith, from Colorado Springs, Colo., who was a nephew of Mr. Tolin. Rev. Knapp and Mrs. Myra Marcoux were in charge of the music. Burial was in the Havensville cemetery.
