Goldie was born in Barnes,Kansas where she spent her early years and education. She came to Sunnyside with her family in 1918. She married Jesse R. Flory on Feb.9, 1927. Together they made their home on a farm east of Grandview. In 1939 they moved to Highland Road where they farmed for 30 years before their retirement in 1968. They had lived in town since then. Mrs. Flory was a member of the United Methodist Church and a long time member of the Methodist Womens society and the Border Club.

She is survived by her husband, Jesse Flory of Grandview; one son William (Bill) Flory of Parker, AZ; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Hager of Naches and Mrs. Lena Herndon of Sunnyside; one brother, Chester J. Harker of Kearney, Neb.; and a large number of nieces and nephews.
