Her first marriage was to a man named Jacob Marion Harker∼Grace Osbourn Elder was born to Joseph Osbourn and Jane Silvers. Grace was first married to Jacob Harker and gave birth to nine children, Clarence, Chester, Clinton, Goldie, Cecil, Raymond, Ethel, Dorothy, and Lenna. She divorced Jacob and took her daughters and youngest son, Cecil, and moved to Little Blue, Washington Co, KS to be with her father-in-law David B. Harker before later moving to Sunnyside, Washington. Grace, second husband was Frank Elder. She had a sister, Iva May Osborn Elder. On a 1920 census Grace indicated she was a dress maker.
