Mrs. Ola Mae Dendy House
Mrs. Ola Mae Dendy House, 88, of Rt 1 Houston died Friday, Oct 10, at Okolona Community Hospital.
Funeral services were held Saturday at the Houston Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Bethel Cemetery. The Rev David Norris and the Rev. Ken Marler officiated.
Mrs. House was born in Calhoun County. She was the daughter of James Edward Dendy and Mrs. Olivia J Wofford Dendy and was married to the late Alonzo T House. She was a housewife and a member of the Bethel Baptist Church.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Atkinson of Houston, Mrs. Mary Ruth Overby of Bruce, Mrs. Polly Hudson of Calhoun City and Mrs. Eunice Nabors of Jackson; a son, Eldridge House of Houston; twelve grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Rufus Wayne Nichols, Hogan Lyles, James Willis, Durell Gann, James Carlisle and Paul Dendy.
