Death of Jacob Kern, Jr.
We learn that Jacob Kern, Jr., son of Jacob Kern, Esq., Treasurer of New Berlin, died at the city of Hudson, N. Y., of typhoid fever, on the 11th inst, aged 21 years and 6 months. Our young folks will recollect "Jake" as formerly a clerk for Isaac Collar. He was a bright, intelligent boy, and gave promise of a first-class business man; but he has gone never to return. He leaves behind a large circle of young friends, in addition to his parents and kindred, to mourn his untimely loss.
