Henry Kern

Henry Kern, a resident of New Berlin for fifty-seven years, died Thursday morning, March 4th. Mr. Kern had been sick but a few weeks, and was conscious until the end. He was born in the town of New Berlin Jan. 11, 1858, and was married to Miss Mary Werning Dec. 15, 1885. Four children were born to them. Mr. Kern is survived by his wife and two sons, Albert R. and Adam H., at home.
The funeral was held Sunday, at 1 o'clock at the house and 2 o'clock at the German Reformed church at Waukesha. Rev. William Diehm officiated. Burial took place at Prairie Home cemetery. Mr. Kern was a loving father and kind neighbor and his family have the sympathy of many friends.
