Mrs. Clara B. Harford, 84, of Springfield, died Tuesday at St. John's Hospital. She was born in Sangamon County the daughter of Richard and Minnie Herron Hughes. Her husband, James O., died in 1951 and preceding her in death were two daughters, Helen Newell and Mildred Hammond, several brothers and sisters.
Surviving are two sons, James and Richard; two daughters, Mrs. Doris Bender and Mrs. Dorthy Black; one brother, Charles Hughes of Grants Pass, Ore.; 20 grandchildren.
Services at Bisch Memorial Home. Burial in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
