Mrs. Minnie Hughes, 87, of 1130 E.Madison Place, died at 5:45 a.m. yesterday in St. John's hospital.
Mrs. Hughes was married to William Flynn, who died many years ago. She then was married to Richard Hughes on Feb. 22, 1894, who died in July, 1948.
Mrs. Hughes is survived by six sons, Otis Flynn of Griggsville; Nick Hughes, of Nebo; Clark Hughes, of Denver, Colo.; Charles Hughes of Compton; Wesley and Carl Hughes, of Springfield; one daughter, Mrs. Clara Harford of Springfield; a brother, Simon Herron, of Springfield; 26 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow in the Bisch Memorial home with Rev. Chester Carlson officiating. Burial will be in East cemetery at Waverly.
