LYNCO — Nita Maude Conley-Cline, 87, of Lynco, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2009, at the Bower Hospice House in Beckley, after a long battle with cancer.

She was born November 12, 1921, in Clear Fork, WV, a daughter of the late William "Dee" Conley (1875-1953) and Nellie Bowden-Acord-Conley (1889-1935).

Mrs. Cline was a lifelong resident of Wyoming County and a homemaker. During her lifetime she attended Baileysville Baptist Church and Joseph Baptist Church.

Her husband of 68 years, Keith Harold Cline (1911-2007) whom she married on May 5, 1939 in Clear Fork, Wyoming County, WV (per WV Marriage License Register, Wyoming County, WV, 1939, Page 15, Application Date: May 2, 1939), and a great-granddaughter, Megan Goodman (Deceased), also preceded her in death along with her brothers, Sterling Silver Conley (1910-1956), Jesse "Jess" Randolph Conley (1913-1991), Andrew "Andy" Taylor Conley (1915-1982), Phillip W. Conley (1918-1987), William "Billy" Conley (1919-1985) and Giles Conley (Died in Infancy); three sisters, Dulcie Marlean Acord-Conley-Hill (1908-1989), Eileen Josephine "Jay" Conley-Hazel (1925-Deceased), and Dolly Ray Conley-Brunty (1927-Deceased); and a half brother, Euhl Acord (1903-Deceased).

Survivors include three sons, Harold Cline and wife Wilma of Lynco, Toady Cline and wife Carolyn of Clear Fork, and Roger Cline and wife Judy of Pineville, W.Va.; three granddaughters, Jennifer Goodman of Lynco, Becky Cassell and husband JW of Charlotte, N.C., and Brandy Cline of Pineville; two grandsons, Steven Cline and wife Kim of Pineville, and Shane Cline of Clear Fork; three great-granddaughters, Ashley Goodman and Allyson and McKenzie Cassell; and a host of loving family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2009, at the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, with the Rev. Hannibal Blankenship Jr. officiating. Nita will be laid to rest beside her husband in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny, W.Va.
