TOLMAN CLARENCE LENNON Sr.
Tolman Clarence Lennon, Sr., 82, of Southport-Supply Road, Bolivia, NC, died Monday, September 24, 2007.
Born in Brunswick County on September 26, 1924, he was a son of the late Joseph O. and Lucy Jane Robbins Lennon. He was a retired farmer, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and a U. S. Navy veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Clara Parker Lennon, of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Tolman C. and Sandra Lennon, Jr., Marion, SC, John Charles and Debbie Lennon of Bolivia, NC; two daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy L. and Raybon Moore, June L. and Jimmy Clemmons, all of Bolivia, NC; three sisters, Carrie Moore, of Concord, NC, Delphia Harris, of Fayetteville, NC and Glen Wilson, of Rocky Point, NC; nine grandchildren, Lori C. and Stephen Boyer, Jeremy W. and Christine Clemmons, S. Jason Clemmons, Toby Lennon, Jennifer and Travis Potter, Matthew Lennon, Shawn Lennon, Terri Moore, Kimberly and Mike Bruton; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, September 27, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. in the Supply Baptist Church, where he served as an inactive Deacon, by The Rev. Bill McNeill and the Rev. Cliff Eubanks. Burial will follow in Brunswick Memorial Gardens.
Active Casketbearers will be Jeremy W. Clemmons, S. Jason Clemmons, Toby Lennon, Matthew Lennon, Travis Potter, Shawn Lennon and Stephen Boyer. Honorary Casketbearers will be Buck Sellers, Sam Edwards, Jack Perry, Joe Graham and the Deacons of Supply Baptist Church.
