The Rev. Ruel G. Braswell, 64, of Paris, IL died at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, Mar. 5, in Paris Nursing Home after an extended illness.

The Rev. Mr. Braswell was ordained an elder in the Church of the Nazarene in 1949 and was pastor of the Pana Church from 1950 to 1955.

He was born in Paducah, KY on Jan 21, 1910 to Elijah Thomas and Minnie Braswell, and was married to Evalee Morris Oct. 16, 1930. She survives.

Besides his wife he leaves a son, Bill of Pana; 4 daughters, Mrs. Richard (Dorothy) Jenkins of Pana, Mrs. Bob (Sharon) Spencer and Mrs. Charles (Peggy) Elledge, both of Paris and Robin, at home; brothers, Millard of Paducah, KY and Walter of Detroit, Mich.; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
