She was born May 23, 1933, in Paducah, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Rev. Ruel and Evelee (Morris) Braswell. She married Charles William Elledge in Paris, Illinois. He preceded her in death December 17, 2008.
Survivors include a son, Ruel (Sherri) Elledge of Paris; two daughters, Regina Quinn and Rebba (Rick) Cunningham both of Paris; a brother, Billy (Agnes) Braswell of Pana, Illinois; a son-in-law, J.B. Quinn of Paris; two sisters, Dorothy Jenkins of Decatur, Illinois, and Sharon Spencer of Paris; six grandchildren, Tracy (Vince) Porter of Paris, Jason Elledge of Paris, Jeremy Elledge of Dallas, Texas, Tony Holt of Paris, Clint (Jacque) Cunningham of Paris, and Chelsea (Matt) Davey of Indianapolis, Indiana; thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces a
Mrs. Elledge was a member of Grace Fellowship Church of Paris, and had been active as a volunteer for the Compassionate Food Pantry. She will be remembered as a woman of deep Christian faith who loved her family and looked forward to her heavenly home.
