She was born March 20, 1942 in Evansville, Indiana, the daughter of the late Rev. Ruel G. and Evelee (Morris) Braswell.
Survivors include four children, Robin (Pastor Brad) Porter of Dana, Indiana, Rhonda (Cliff) Murray of Paris, Scott Spencer of Paris, and Bobbie Sue (Russell) Rutter of Rockville, Indiana; a sister, Dorothy Jenkins of Decatur, Illinois; twelve grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Braswell, and a sister, Peggy Elledge.
Mrs. Spencer attended Paris First Church of the Nazarene in her younger years. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
