C.D. Perry, 92, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2017. Burial will be at a later date in Petersburg, Texas.
Memorial: In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Haltom Road Baptist Church Building Fund.
C.D. served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Wesson Battleship during World War II. He was an active deacon at Haltom Road Baptist Church and was an avid softball fan, having played until the age of 84.
He was preceded in death by daughter, Debra Dawn Perry in 1957.
Survivors: Wife of 70 years, Joan Perry; daughters, Louetta (Lynn) Holt, Ginger McDowell, Robin (Wes) Rayborn; son, Richmond (Jean) Perry; grandchildren, Delania (Cliff) Honiker; Perry (Summer) Holt, Jacqueline (Kevin) Bird, Jason McDowell, Danea (Patrick) Thuemmel, Drew (Meagan) Perry; 19 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
