Eva Mae Conner , 92, passed away at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2016, in Du Quoin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Du Quoin. Eva had been a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith. She was born June 4, 1924, in Tamaroa, the daughter of George and Bertha (Messe) Lively. She married Edgar Lee Maynard, Denzel Leon Garnett, and Harley Conner. She is survived by one daughter, Patsy Donoghue and husband, Bill, of Du Quoin; one son, Randy Maynard and wife, Julie, of Tamaroa; two sisters, Hazel Cotel of Arizona, and Mary Thomas of Nashville; 12 grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; three husbands; children, Peggy Skorcz, James Maynard, Robert Maynard, Berry Maynard and Edna Meiners; grandson, Scott Maynard; siblings, Ruth Hill, Richard Lively, George Lively and Helen Arnold. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 10, in Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa, with the Rev. Joe Wagner officiating. Burial will be in Tamaroa Cemetery.Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
