WINNFIELD -- Services for Lena Bell Shumake will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Southern with the Rev. H. W. Smith and Eugene F. Love officiating. Burial will be in Sardis Cemetery.
Mrs. Shumake, 93, of Winnfield died Wednesday in Humana Hospital.
She was a lifelong resident of Winn Parish and a member of First United Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include five sons, Jesse Shumake of Amite, Lyndon Shumake of San Diego, Calif., Harvey Shumake of Atlanta, Bobby Shumake and James Shumake, both of Winnfield; one stepson, Jack Shumake of Tioga; three daughters, Louise Huckabee of Bridgeport, Texas, Cherry Estes of Mount Hermon, and Bertie Ray Walters of DeQueen, Ark.; 37 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from noon until 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until time of services Friday in the funeral home.
