Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Sardis Baptist Church, with Reverend C. W. Jones and Dr. W. L. Holcomb officiating. Burial was in the Brown Cemetery under direction of Hixson Bros. Funeral Home of Winnfield.
She is survived by two sons, E. B. Barton and Frank Barton of Winnfield; six daughters, Majel B. Donohoe, Ella Mae Russ, and Ruth B. Brady, all of Winnfield, and Irene B. Hughes, Ophelia B. Simmons, and Johnnie B. Cathey, all of Shreveport; two sisters, Edna B. Mixon and Olive S. Eagles of Winnfield, 21 grandchildren, and 37 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Charles B. Hughes, Billy B. Barton, Shirley R. Simmons, Clifton D. Barton, Julius H. Barton, and Benny Brady.
