Funeral services for Alex Gallek, 64, of Harding, who died Tuesday at St. Gabriel's Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Holy Cross Church in Harding, with the Rev. S. A. Fadrowski officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Mr. Gallek was born Feb. 22, 1914 in Wells. As a young man he moved to the Harding area where he farmed. He also was employed by Morrison County until his retirement in 1960.
Survivors include his brothers, Walter of Austin and Joseph of Harding; and sisters, Mrs. Lawrence (Anna) Glassman of Backus, Mrs. Julia Woitalla of Harding, Mrs. Herman (Cora) Gross of St. Cloud; Mrs. Roman (Mae) Gross and Mrs. Wally (Marie) Steele of Harding and Mrs. Colton (Elsie) Merril of North Carolina.
