Earl Thomas Brady, 75, Hanover R.4, Edge Grove, died Thursday at 4:50 a.m. at the Hanover General Hospital, where he was a patient since February 20. He was the son on Harry and Jenny Fidler Brady, and was employed by Revonah Spinning Mills, Mr. Brady was a member of the Sacred Heart Basilica congregation and Holy Name Society, Edge Grove; Hanover and McSherrystown Eagles; Conewago, Irishtown and McSherrystown Fire Companies; Adams County Firemen's Association, McSherrystown Home Association and Revonah Social Club.
His wife, Mrs. Dorothy B. Brady, died in 1960.
He is survived by 11 sons and daughters, Mrs. Margret M. Bair, Mrs. Pauline E. French, Mrs. Mary Ann Gross and Richard C. Brady, Hanover R.4; Joesph E. Brady, McSherrystown; Mrs. Angela Bolin and A. Mark Brady, New Oxford, R.1; Edward L. Brady, Hanover, M/Sgt.Earl L. Brady, Columbus Air Force Base, Miss.; James C. Brady, Hanover and Andrew C. Brady, Carlisle; 50 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and eight brothers and sisters, Sister Rita Teresa, McSherrystown; Sister Pauline Marie, Hanover; The Rev. Carl B. Brady, Pastor of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, York; Roy Brady, Hagerstown; Henry E. Brady, Hanover R.4, and Clyde, Massachusetts.
The Funeral service will be held Saturday, with prayers at 10:30 a.m. at the Brady home, Hanover R.4, followed by a concelebrated requiem mass at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Basilica. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. Carl B. Brady will be celebrant. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
