James C. Brady, 79, entered into God's Eternal Care, Monday, August 25, 2014, at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was the husband of the late Janet N. (Gladfelter) Brady. Born on March 4, 1935, in Edgegrove, he was the son of the late Earl and Dorothy (Breighner) Brady. Mr. Brady served four years in the U.S. Air Force. He was employed by the Freeman Shoe Company for over 20 years and also by Clarks Company for many years, before retirement in 2000. Mr. Brady is survived by two sons, James A. Brady of W.Va. and Vincent Scott Brady of Glen Rock; two daughters, Pamela Grissinger of Hanover and Shirley Trivitt of Abbottstown; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Andrew Brady of Conewago and Earl Brady of Hanover; and one sister, Pauline French of McSherrystown. Mr. Brady was preceded in death by two daughters, Karen Lee Taylor and Brenda BarBour Brady. Following cremation, a Memorial Service will be held at St. Vincents Church at the convenience of the family
