Lloyd Leo Fischer, 73, of Wenatchee, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2002, at Central Washington Hospital.

He was born in Linton, ND, on July 31, 1929 to Andrew H. and Elizabeth (Fix) Fischer. He graduated from Linton High School.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1956.

On July 1, 1963, Leo married Patricia Jeager in Cashmere. They resided in Cashmere until 1964 and then moved to Wenatchee.

He was a Commander of the American Legion Cashmere Post, a member of the Leavenworth Golf Club, Wenatchee Elks, and Wenatchee Eagles. He enjoyed fishing and golfing.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia of the home; four sons, Gibb Fischer of Seattle, Kirk Fischer of Charlotte, NC, Richard and Daniel Fischer, both of Wenatchee; one daughter, Traci Bruggman of Wenatchee; five sisters, Louise and Alvina Fischer, Marcella Stein, Bernice Mett and Helen Werlinger; four brothers, Andrew Fischer, Patrick Fischer, Bill Fischer and Joe Werlinger; four grandchildren, Danielle and Brooks Bruggman and Andrew and Cassie Fischer.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and 2 sisters.

Services of Commemoration will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, 2002 at Betts Memorial Chapel with Father Thomas Kuykendall officiating. Visitation will be Friday from Noon to 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Leavenworth Golf Club. Services will conclude in the chapel.

Services are under the care of Betts Funeral Service.
