Fischer Services Scheduled

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be this evening, Thursday, at 7:30 p.m. in the Braun Funeral chapel for Mrs. Elizabeth Fischer who died October 20 in a Wenatchee hospital, on the day of her 73rd birthday. Requiem Mass will follow at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic church. Rev. Fr. Gerald Corrigan will officiate at both services. Burial will be In the Cashmere cemetery.

The family of Mrs. Fischer requests that memorials to her be directed to the American Cancer society.

A 24-year resident of Cashmere, Mrs. Fischer was born in Germany October 20, 1897 and came with her family to North Dakota at the age of two.

In 1917, she was married to Louis Werlinger in North Dakota. Mr. Werllnger died In 1924. She was married to Andrew Fischer at Bismarck, N. Dak., on October 27, 1929.

They lived in Bismarck until moving to Cashmere in 1946. Mr, Fischer died in 1954. Mrs. Fischer was a member of St. Francis Altar society, American Legion Auxiliary unit No, 64, and the Degree of Honor.

Surviving are seven sons, Adam Werllnger, Glendale, Arz., Andrew Fischer, Yakima, William and Lloyd Fischer, East Wenatchee and James and Patrick Fischer; Cashmere; six daughters, Helen Repass, Cashmere, Alvina Middlesworth, Monroe, Marcella Stine, Lyle, Bernice Mett, Milwaukee, Ellen Ciani, New York, and Louise Bostwick, Yakima; one stepson, Joe Werlinger. Milwaukee, and a step-daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Allen, Milwaukee: 44 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mary, Gertrude and Francis, and three brothers. Steve, Leo and Nick all of Milwaukee.
