Mrs. William Bernsee, Former Resident of Eldorado, Dies at Curtiss
Mrs. William Bernsee, 51, a native of the Town of Eldorado, died Saturday at her home at Curtiss, Wis., according to information received by relatives.
Mrs. Bernsee was born Feb. 1, 1876, in the Town of Eldorado. She was Miss Bertha Smith, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Smith, before her marriage. After her marriage the couple resided in Curtiss.
The deceased is survived by her widower and three children, Mrs. Edna Kowoleske of Owen, Edith and Ervin at home, and by two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Miller of Lamartine, Mrs. August Stollfus of Eldorado, and four brothers, Julius Smith of North Fond du Lac, August of Rosendale and William and Charles of Curtiss. She also leaves a niece, Mrs. Fred Schramm of this city.
